chicken-a-la-dioxin...what on earth is "dioxin-contaminated motor oil"???

Hi, folks,

     Sorry I haven't been too active on the list in recent weeks; I'm tied
up in anti-genetic-engineering stuff (our old friend Monsanto up to no good
again). More on that later.

     The Washington Post today featured an article about dioxin-contaminated
chickens in Belgium, with the following explanation:

Health officials in Belgium believe that the feed manufacturer had used a
batch of animal and vegetable oils, routinely added to the pellet mixtures
fed to chickens, that had been laced with dioxin-contaminated motor oils.

Anyone know what on earth they are talking about? I've never heard of
dioxin-contaminated motor oils...
