French Govt confirms probe

The French Government is looking into violations of their own antitrust
laws.

Of course, they are not likely to do anything while they wait for the
DOJ to fix the problem first.  It is primarily the DOJ's
responsibility.  And, they will most likely wait and see what happens.

However, keep in mind that the French do not always do what the English
would do.  I hope no one is offended by this statement, but the French
have always been sure to keep their independent minds independent.
