  House Commitee Assignments for the 105th Congress
  
  
  In preparation for the opening of the 105th Congress 
  in January, Republican and Democrat leaders in the 
  House of Representatives have completed tentative 
  committee assignments.  Below are the latest lists 
  of Representatives who will serve on the Resources 
  and Agriculture committees.  These committees 
  exercise substantial jurisdiction over legislation 
  concerning forestry, farming, and public lands 
  management. 
  
  The Senate will hold leadership elections this week.  
  Committee assignments should be available by the 
  beginning of next week.  They will be posted when
