   News Highlights (Tuesday  September 23) NIPR GIVES AWARD TO SHELL, OTHERS
   
   The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) on Thursday September 18, 
   gave out its Outstanding Corporate Member Award to Shell Producing Nigeria 
   Limited, and other companies in Nigeria in recognition of their efforts in 
   enhancing community development in their respective host communities and the 
   upliftment of educational standards as well as manpower training. The other 
   companies which received the awards are Chevron, Nestle Foods, Lever 
   Brothers, Bank of the North and Savannah Bank.
   
   
   ...perhaps we should all send Shell a note of congratulations. :)
