Taxol

  The Senate and House are considering an amendment to the HSS
  appropriation that would extend for 5 years the Taxol monopoly, in
  exchange for 3 percent of net sales, for biomedical research.  
  Basically levying a heavy tax on cancer patients to fund more medical
  research, which will give given away as more corporate welfare.
