Wait a minute.  Web sites offer you something of value in exchange for your
personal information.  We might think its dumb to sell your privacy out for
money or other benefits, but we can't forbid people from making the offers.

Sites which are fraudulent or overly deceptive should be opposed, but
otherwise
people just have to be responsible for their own good sense or lack thereof.
