ISDN current events

  Comments on Utah USWEST res. ISDN tariff due jan 31
  
  DC PSC may vote on staff recommendation for $32 tariff (flat rate) this 
  week (see today's Wash Post story).  BA says it won't offer under the 
  staff recommendation (at least that's what they told WP).
  
  California PUC taking comments by email 
  
  Washington State rejects USWEST rate hike, for now..on notice issue
  
  Computer industry gearing up on ISDN issues.  May argue that computers 
  can make ISDN work so that even if a connnection is open, only a single 
  "D" channel will be used, unless data transfers are taking place, 
  radically changing estimates of cost for nailed down lines.
