newsflash: BBC reports falling sperm counts in america

  today's 1/2 hour 6pm GMT (noon, MST, USA) edition of the BBC world news
  service just broadcast as one of its headline stories that:
  
  'american scientists have confirmed falling sperm counts in american men.
  most scientists now believe the cause to be environmental, and chemicals
  which mimic the female sex hormone estrogen, are implicated/'
  
  paraphrased.  no author or publication given.  the syllable "chlor-" did
  not make it into the newscast.  more is sure to follow, but this was a very
  strong & definitively (as to causation) casat report.
