Texas AG retiring

  I don't know how interested anyone would be,
  but given that Texas AG Dan Morales had just
  a couple of weeks ago launched a suit against
  Microsoft for the "tell us before you tell the
  US Gov." clause in their licensing agreement/s,
  I thought it might be apropo to this list.
  
  The news yesterday was that Texas AG Dan Morales
  announced that he will not seek re-election in
  '98, citing "time with the family" as the reason.
  
  I wondered how this will impact Texas' ongoing
  investigations into Microsoft's business practices
  in Texas.
  
  Sorry to see him go.
