Re: MSMAIL- CROSSED WIRE(TAP)

.......do you hear that sound like black helicopters?.......
.......or , you're not paranoid if they're really out to get you.......
After sending a post to AM-INFO (MS in bed with Gov't? Gasp!) and carrying on
a side discussion of a previous post of mine (New ZD Net Poll) with Maine
resident Stan Johnson, I received a "mail failure" message from
  MSMAIL.STATE.ME.US
telling me that my note "MS in bed with Gov't? Gasp!" could not be delivered
  to Johnson, Stan L.
who was never mailed that message directly from me in the first place, and,
coincidently, and had just informed me that , as an OS/2 user/convert from
windoze, he had " been a constant irritant in the totally windoze shop
(a state agency) from which" he just retired.
Now since I received responses to the post "MS in bed with Gov't? Gasp!", it must
have arrived at am-info@essential.org (the only address I sent it to). And since I
had already exchanged several notes with Mr Johnson (whose e-address is NOT
@msmail.state.me.us) my mail is obviously identifying and reaching him in Maine.
So how is it that the state of Maine e-postmaster has fused my post to essential.org
and my post to sjohnson@gwi.net into an MSMAIL error message?

This is too weird to make up. The particulars are listed below.

  Note the
  1) from: MSMAIL=POSTMASTER@msmail.state.me.us
  2) to:glivezey@netserv.unmc.edu (Return requested) - is that an offer of reward?
  3) SUBJECT:mail failure.........not delivered to Johnson, Stan L.
  4) Microsoft Mail v3.0 IPM.Microsoft Mail.Note, from GLivezey...to:essential.org

Rush Limbo? A nom de poison plume if I ever saw one.
Or perhaps an embedded editorial comment?
I know I supplied the reference to the ZDnet "poll", but
I really meant to point out the error, not fan the conspiracy
flames. A federal bribe (and pocket change at that) to M$
to motivate them to subsidize one of their markets, to avoid
the appearance of a monopoly by saving Apple/Mac? I
think only longterm oxygen deprivation would cause even
an X-files scriptwriter to reach that far (and hold the ripe
tomatoes - I like and watch the x-files - but it is entertainment
  after all, especially lately).
This is fun stuff, but like the ZDnet poll snafu, its likely to add
more heat than light to this discussion of M$ business practices.
I'll let you know when I spot the men in black with little "e"
  emblems on their hats.
