Little Grey Cells (or lack thereof)

The Mercury News reviews the top stories 1998 in an un-bylined editorial
(http://www.mercurycenter.com/premium/opinion/edit/END98.htm), the first of
the new year. Here's an amusing excerpt:

"In sworn testimony, Bill Clinton, the most powerful man in the world,
couldn't remember whether he'd ever been alone with Monica Lewinsky. Given
what she said happened when they were alone, she must count it as the final
insult from The Creep.

"In sworn testimony, Bill Gates, the richest man in the cosmos, couldn't
recall the meaning of such fundamental business terms as ``market share.''
Gates was presented with an e-mail, covered with his electronic
fingerprints, that said, ``Winning browser share is a very, very important
goal for us.'' He said he couldn't remember writing it and didn't know what
it meant.

"So bear this in mind the next time you walk out of the office and can't
remember where you parked the car. Clinton and Gates run the world.
Evidently, this requires hardly any little gray cells at all."
