misFortune 500

If anyone has the opportunity, the August issue of Fortune Magazine has
their annual list of the Fortune 500. And guess which of the 500 is the
most profitable corporation on the planet? That's right - Shell. With
stocks more than doubling since 1992 and over $12 billion in cash
reserves (more then four times that of nearest oil competitor Exxon,
they've jumped 28.7% since 95' to nearly $9billion annual profit.
The good news: Fortune brings up Ken Saro-Wiwa, Nigeria, Peru, etc.
through out the entire article. A sidebar article shows the photo of the
hangman's neuse from a Shell gas sign. This is a major success. This
article, "Why is the World's Most Profitable Company Turning Itself
Inside Out?" will make everyone in the bussiness community aware of the
atrocities taking place within Shell's ranks.
All those working towards local trade sanctions, you've just been given
  some good Fortune.
