David Orenstein: Amerada Hess and Linux Beowulf cluster

This was an above average article about Linux deployment.
It is about a $130,000 32 node linux cluster replacing a
$2 million IBM system, but also about the firm rejecting
an MS NT alternative due to porting costs, and it
mentions that Dell is the supplier of the Linux
machines used in the cluster. jamie
