David Bollier's "The Power of Openness" for the Berkman Center
David Bollier, a non-programmer/social activist, looks at the open source/open
code/free software/new software movement, and proposes the creation of h2o, a
non-profit organization to help foster the development and usage of the new
software.
David is an influential figure in the world of private foundations, and this
essay is aimed in part at influencing the donor interest in this field.
