Note that this is announcement is pitched to network providers.  Not
end users.


At the Broadband Breakfast I attended, the Cisco rep kept stressing
that the general purpose platform was less valuable than a "managed
service" channel.

I stressed that the general purpose platform is the *most* advanced
telecommunications service.  I like my computer more than I like my
graphics card -- same difference.
