[Upd-discuss] Communia workshop on Public Domain

Dear list members I am writing to you in hope that
this email is not out of netiquette, since I post here
for first time.

I am a member of Mincius Sodas lab which is an
international, internet based, grassroots network of
individuals working in Public Domain please see our
wiki worknets.org and www.ms.lt   

Mincius Sodas (which means Orchard of Thoughts on
Lithuanian) is a member of Communia Thematic Network 
http://www.communia-project.eu/about which is funded
by European Union and which can have a significant
impact on  policies of EU  ( and consequently of the
rest of the world ) toward Public Domain in the
digital environment.
We are organizing a Communia  workshop in Vilnius,
Lithuania on March 31, 2008 called “Ethical Public
Domain: Debate of Questionable Practices”. 
Please, I invite members of this list who care about
this issue to send us one-page position papers in the
Public Domain that we might present on your behalf as
we will organize debates.
