Clearly google has much more breadth and depth of web.
But the default settings of the search engines
differs.

While google uses moderate not
strict filter as default, BBC search completely bans
inappropriate material. While there is option to not
filter at all in google, there is no such option in
BBC search.

If there is proof that some sites are clearly wrong
(eg: adult material, selling of endangered species etc
-more demand creates more supply in capitalist
world and more supply implies clear harm)
then there is no question about freedom of information
or censorship. So clearly the ideal situation would be
if the default of google search gets changed.

Any views?
