Dear colleagues:
It's a pleasure to announce the 2nd Social Forum of Information. It will
have virtual and live phases. The final sessions will be held in Mexico
City on September. (date to be confirmed)
Most of you remember the First Forum that was held in Buenos Aires which
was organized by CEBI (Mexico) and GESBI (Argentina). We think that it was
a valuable effort and we want to reinforce these kind of forums. We hope
to see you in Mexico.
Our website will be updated frequently although you can contact me
off-list if you prefer.

"Tyrants and autocrats have always understood that literacy,
learning, books and newspapers are potentially dangerous.
They can put independent and even rebelious ideas to the heads
of their subjects."
