I do agree and I want to add that the term "exclusive rights" is 
intensively used by Legal Professors, especially French ones since it 
regroups copyright and "droit d'auteur" much better than the term 
"intellectual property".

Most French authors use the term "intellectual property" because that is 
the name of our Code of intellectual property, but not when speaking 
about its signification.
