I caught this news story this morning thanks to Google's News Alerts.

"Education, enforcement and consumer choice are the essential tools which
will help to protect our creative industries from Intellectual Property
(IP) theft and secure the future prosperity of our creative economy,
Culture Secretary Tessa Jowell affirmed today.

In a speech to the Creative Economy conference in London this morning, Ms
Jowell announced the publication of the Government response to
recommendations from the Creative Industries Forum on Intellectual
Property." ... http://www.egovmonitor.com/node/2990

"My audience were all gluttons for freedom, if by that you meant the
freedom to hunt, or the freedom to eat roast beef without the fat trimmed
off. But they were perfectly happy to see their own liberties curtailed,
if that gave the authorities a chance to crack down on scroungers and
bogus asylum-seekers."
