However..
For quite some time I've considered writing something myself -
asking for a more concrete vision for the upd.. I've felt that it might
economize the efforts being directed twords the organization... I've had
questions as to the parallels of my own desires on certain points..
However..
Each time I've decided it would end up being too distracting and
divisive.. Also, I am very leery of specificity as it removes future
directions.. I feel there are positions that are not appropriate for the
UPD to take currently, that will become so in time..
I think perhaps some balance is reasonable.. I would welcome if
anyone can bring focus to efforts - though this should not detract from
immediate works.. I would start with only those things that are
immediately and easily agreed on by the whole. I would dispense with
anything requiring more.. I think this could be fruitful and revealing..
