I would like to add something about a new attack on PD. It is just
beginning to rise here in France and I don't know much what it's
about in other countries.
This came from theater plays writers who begun to explain that PD
plays are a threat to their industry since the public these plays can

Well it's true, isn't it? It /is/ a threat to new playwrights.

Is this true?
The assumption that the capitalist distribution method is superior
to the public domain's seems to be under a lot of question in the music
industry today.. We are seeing artists leave their music free of
artificial limitations, and becoming more successful for doing it..
It seems to me; this is a clear question to the foundations of
economic incentive through false scarcity..

I would just as soon make the assumption the public domain will
foster economic growth, it seems just as logical..
