    I was ignorant of the Académie - after looking at the site; I see 
the term immortal is commonly applied to members - so I suppose, at 
least on the surface, this is a logical extension of an underlying 
concept of the organization..

    After realizing who comprises this group, I think it would be useful 
to start conversations among it's members - clearly they are 
influential.. I am certain there are some among them who understand the 
significance of perpetual copyright and it's detriment to all artists 
and thinkers such as themselves..
