I think you've made a mistake here, did you look at the article?
Apologies if you did and the rest of my e-mail is in error :-)

The article quoted in the first e-mail wasn't in fact referring to or
making comparisons between those pushing for stricter copyright laws and
Lenin and Stalin's rule but attempting to apply Leninism to online
markets. (or something like that, it's not easy reading or particular
interest to me ;-) )

I believe Lars was stating his opinion that people shouldn't apply
Lenin's ideas to other areas due to the atrocities he and Stalin
committed. That's not something I agree with, ideas should be assessed
upon their own merit and not dismissed purely because of unrelated
actions. Of course by this I don't mean to belittle atrocities committed
by Lenin and Stalin.
