I certainly don't see how defeatism and accepting newspeak will win the day.
IP needs mass action (sorry, emergent consumer behavior) to tackle. If you cannot explain the other side of the debate to people, you cannot achieve this. "IP", like "piracy", is a term that concedes the terms of debate to the content middlemen and closes the debate on their behalf before it has even begun.
