WTF? He speaks for Lincoln now? And, if Abe would have liked it, it
must be good.</pre>

I must comment - you miss the immense irony of the statement...<br>
<br>
Lincoln demonstrably understood the impact of advanced capitalism.
He would have opposed the current state. No doubt about it.<br>
<br>
"<i>As a result of the war, corporations have been enthroned, and
an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of
the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the
prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands,
and the Republic is destroyed. I feel at this moment more anxiety for
the safety of my country than ever before, even in the midst of the
war. God grant that my suspicion may prove groundless."<br>
<br>
- Abe Lincoln<br>
<br>
<br>
</i>If Abraham Lincoln was still alive, he would tell this guy to
go fuck himself.<br>
<br>
Cheers!<br>
<br>
P.S.<br>
Abe would never stoop to profanity.<br>
<br>
P.P.S.<br>
I like the 'search' feature on the article - allowing you to 'search'
things within the fox website.<br>
Giving you the feeling your researched something that supports
something else, when all you've done is heard more of the same view
from the same place.<br>
