I thought this may be interesting to the members of the list, it's a story
from BBC News online, detailing a Welsh Assembley promotion of the English
language. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/4077023.stm
They're aiming to reprint books which are either out of print or difficult
to find, distributing free copies to schools and libraries.
I'd like to write them an e-mail, asking if they'd consider making
available electronic copies of the texts if they're in the public domain,
and making an effort to release under the creative commons those which are
not.
I'd appriciate some feedback from you guys before I e-mail Gwyneth
Speller, Professor Dai Smith's PA, and if anyone would like to help, let
me know.
James
