Dear friends,

I am looking for concrete examples of problems, big and small, affecting
access and use caused by the copyright regime in Europe. Especially for
cultural, educational and scientific material, modern and folk music,
literature, etc. For example, digitisation projects, distance learning or
other initiatives scaled back or failed because of rights clearance issues,
legal uncertainty, high cost and/or administration; live music, local
theatre performances, art exhibitions, documentary or film makers, research
projects, etc. The problems could be related to the term of protection,
TPMs, contract terms, etc. Are there examples of the chill factor at work in
Europe?

Anything, however big or small, that illustrate the current problems would
be great.

Thanks in advance.

Teresa
