I was wrong; there's no fees for hard drives.

While I browsed the CPCC web site (proprietary Flash plugin required), I found 
that there's an exemption for the "perceptually disabled". It means that 
people who can't listen to music don't have to pay the fees, because cds can 
also contains non-musical material. So the fees are for people suspected of 
listening to music.  I admit, I can still ear music...

Why not impose a fee on cotton swabs? Maybe that new born babies should pay 
the CPCC a welcome tax; it's been statistically proved that many will 
enventually enjoy music, and on rare occasions even canadian music!
