Subject: [Patents] leaders of all German parties against swpat
Today the speaker of the Christian Democrats announced their
position: request of a 2 years moratorium on art 52 and
commencement of discussion about a sui generis protection scheme.
The positions of the Green and Liberal party were announced earlier and
are even more uncompromisingly anti-swpat.
There is no official position of the Social Democrats, but several of
their opinion leaders and the people in the ministery of economics have
expressed either an anti-swpat or a moratorium position.
