Parexel is a large provider of clinical trials and other related
services.  According to the company's 1999 Annual Report:

"During Fiscal year 1999, the Company supported over 700 clinical trials
in 58 countries."

How much did it cost to support more than 700 clinical trials in 58
countries?  FY 1999 revenue from contract research services were $239.5
million.  The revenue, divided by 700, is $342 thousand per clinical
trial supported in 1999.
