Subject: AGOA news

Focused very forcefully on AGOA the last few days.

Probably will _not_ make it out of committee thias week afterall.

Senator Roth is waffling on the Feinstein Language. He has probably
already scrapped the US fabirc protection for US textile workers (although
there may be some good news on transhipment?).

They are looking for ways to compromise the Feinstein language away.

There is a conflict between the House & Senate on various ammendments.
Almost all of them are good. The House is insisting on the same 'clean'
bill it was sent, so the very slim hope that AGOA can be stopped
outright is slightly brighter.

PLEASE KEEP UP CALLS AND LETTERS! ITS NOT TOO LATE!
