I wanted to bring this to your attention. We released the information
just before Durban. There are some interesting findings about
Americans' support for debt relief and for reductions in drug prices:

**************

To shed light on Americans' views about the state of the
HIV/AIDS epidemic worldwide and the role of the U.S. in
addressing the global epidemic, the Kaiser Family Foundation
conducted a national survey of Americans about their attitudes
towards HIV/AIDS globally and in sub-Saharan Africa in particular.
The survey examines Americans' understanding of the magnitude of
the epidemic, perceptions about access to treatment and care, as
well as support for government and private sector involvement in
prevention and treatment in developing nations.

Findings from the survey along with toplines, released in
preparation for the 13th International AIDS Conference, are
available on the Kaiser Family Foundation website at:
www.kff.org/hiv.

Thank you for your interest,
The Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation
