All,
FYI from NIST:
Also see: http://csrc.nist.gov/sec-cert/ca-controls.html
*** The following message is from the NIST FISMA Implementation Project
***
Subject: Final Publication of NIST Special Publication 800-53
NIST Special Publication 800-53, "Recommended Security Controls for
Federal Information Systems", is now available at the Computer
Security Division
web site (http://csrc.nist.gov/publications).
Also see: http://csrc.nist.gov/sec-cert/ca-controls.html
Not later than Friday, March 4, 2005, we will be posting on the FISMA
Implementation Project web site (http://csrc.nist.gov/sec-cert), the
full text of the consolidated security controls for each of the three
baselines (for low-impact, moderate-impact, and high-impact information
systems). The consolidated control sets for each baseline will be
organized in a table format and published in both .pdf and MS Word .doc
formats for ease of use in developing/updating security plans and to
facilitate integration into automated support tools.
Please consult the FISMA Implementation Project web site for
the latest information on development schedules, upcoming
workshops, and any other project-related activities.
