To mark the one year anniversary of the HIPAA Privacy Rule, the Health Privacy Project is releasing our 1st annual HIPAA Privacy Check-Up, which outlines how the Bush administration has failed on medical privacy, as well as offering "prescriptions for improvement" for both the administration and congress.  It's essential that we highlight the important protections the Privacy Rule provides and the changes that need to be implemented in order to make the promise of the HIPAA Privacy Rule a reality.
