Essential Medicines, this November 14-15th, at Yale University in New Haven=

Zackie Achmat will be our opening and keynote speakers!

South African activist and Founder of Treatment Action Campaign (TAC)

As ususal, the conference will have a large variety of training sessions on
issues of innovation for and access to medicines coupled with the
opportunity to hone your skills to be an effective advocate at your home
campus.


*Travel*
Following submission of the registration form, you can apply for travel
funding to come to the conference.  We encourage you to find funding from
your own institution and have resources online to help you apply for
funding.  Since travel assistance is limited, early registration is
encouraged.  And remember to book early to get good rates.

*Housing*
After registering you can also apply for housing.  The Yale chapter is
working hard to find student hosts for all participants, but please feel
free to explore alternative options for accommodations, particularly if you
know people in New Haven.

The conference is an excellent opportunity to raise awareness about access
to medicines issues.  Please use this announcement to recruit as many peopl=
