Dear Mr. Arne Andreassen,=0D
=0D
As you are very well aware for years, Nutriset and IRD (French public=0D
Institute of Research for the Development) have Industrial Property (IP)=0D
rights covering highly nutrients paste-based products, notably our=0D
well-known pasty RUTF "Plumpy'nut=C2=AE", and the process of their producti=
on.=0D
These IP rights are in Force in Europe and America but also in many African=
=0D
countries.=0D
=0D
Your product eeZeePaste nut=E2=84=A2 bears some similarities with our produ=
ct=0D
Plumpy'nut=C2=AE", therefore we would like to draw your attention on some b=
asic=0D
rules of application of the IP' rights: they are applicable not only in the=
=0D
territory of production but also in the territory where commercial actions=
=0D
are done (i.e. offering, selling, distributing etc.), and in the territory=
=0D
of use.=0D
=0D
Compact AS website (http://www.compactforlife.com/stock-locations/) is=0D
mentioning that eeZeePaste nut=E2=84=A2 is being store in warehouses in Ken=
ya and=0D
Denmark. Considering that our patents are in force in both countries we=0D
would like to highlight to you that you could risk breaching our rights and=
=0D
to put your clients in position of receiver counterfeiting.=0D
Additionally we would like to clarify that Nutriset and IRD do not have any=
=0D
IP' rights in force in Norway or India. Nevertheless considering the=0D
information above mention, the product eeZeePaste nut=E2=84=A2 manufactured=
by=0D
Compact in Norway or India cannot be offered, stored, sold or distributed,=
=0D
or used in countries where our patents are in force (i.e. in Kenya).=0D
=0D
Consequently, we advise you to consider this notification seriously, and to=
=0D
take all necessary measures to avoid conflicting situations.=0D
Otherwise, we would then be forced to defend our best interests.=0D
Yours sincerely,=0D
