Dear friends and colleagues



We are pleased to share with you 3D's new publication Towards Human Rights
Consistent Trade Policies - Samples and suggestions for engaging with human
rights treaty bodies.



The aim of this publication is to indicate to human rights advocates, the
kind of information on trade-related issues that it can be useful to submit
to the human rights supervisory bodies. It can be used as a model for
preparing NGO shadow reports for the treaty bodies on trade-related issues.



The publication is designed to encourage human rights advocates to increase
their focus on trade-related issues as they affect human rights, and to wor=
k
with UN and other human rights supervisory mechanisms to strengthen human
rights accountability of trade actors.



We hope that you find it useful, and remain available to work with you to
facilitate transmission of trade-related information to international human
rights supervisory mechanisms.
