It may sound strange to many people on this list, but many of us will
miss Harvey Bale with affection as he leaves the IFPMA. Harvey is
moving to Washington, DC, where we wish him luck.
Alicia Greenidge, currently the Deputy Head of Mission (USTR) in Geneva,
will be his replacement.
We are not happy with the revolving door situation with US trade
officials, but this aside, I think Alicia will be a good choice for the
IFPMA, which, while maintaining as always a strong pro-industry advocacy
position, in the past year or so has become more open to pro-public
health initiatives in both innovation and access.
