Correct.  That is why we need forums like these, in order to coordinate
efforts such as Doha and direct communications with the congress.
Money talks, but a large mass of people talks louder.

We can also use this power to speak directly to the corporations, which
can sometimes be shamed into good behavior beyond the requirements of
the law.
