Purpose of the meeting: The meeting will focus on the follow-up of the
Intergovernmental Working Group on public health, innovation and intellectu=
al
property rights (IGWG) of the World Health Organisation (WHO) and in
particular on the IGWG's Draft global strategy and plan of action on public
health, innovation and intellectual property (A/PHI/IGWG/2/2). More
information on the IGWG and on the draft global strategy and action plan is
available here [4].

The meeting will feature a series of panel discussions with the participati=
on
of relevant Commission services and civil society organisations. After each
panel, the floor will be open for questions.

2. Panel discussions
2.1 Access to medicines, including IP management for access and improving
delivery of access
2.2 Technology transfer and capacity building
2.3 Priority setting and sustainable systems of finance for priority Resear=
