Congress Leaders to USTR: Drop TRIPS-Plus in FTAs

Reps. Waxman, McDermott, Allen, Doggett, Schackowsky, Stark, DeGette,
Van Hollen, Lee, Blumenauer, Lewis and  Emanuel asked the USTR on
March 12 to drop TRIP-Plus provisions that will restrict access to
affordable medicines in agreements with Colombia, Panama, Peru, Korea
and Malaysia.
