Novartis appoints Stephanie Moss to produce inspired incentive trip

Novartis South Africa has entrusted the complete production of its 2007
sales incentive trip to Stephanie Moss Solutions. The pharmaceutical
company is sending its top achievers on a thrilling excursion to South
America, where they will soak up the sun in Rio and go Piranha fishing
in the Amazon jungle.

serious pressure to find a destination and prepare a programme that
would live up to the expectations created by the last four trips we=92ve
organised for Novartis. Nevertheless, I think we can safely say we=92ve
achieved just that.=94

She adds: =93Brazil is currently one of the most popular global tourism
destinations, and for good reason. There are now more flights available
to Brazil, and at lower prices, than ever before. Then there=92s the major
drawcard of sunny Rio de Janeiro, with its carnival atmosphere, as well
as the Amazon Jungle with its extraordinary wildlife and exotic
vegetation. I=92d go so far as to say that the Amazon has the ability to
capture the imagination like no other adventure destination on earth.
Having been in this business for nearly 20 years, and around the globe
in the process, whenever we propose a new destination, I always ask
myself the question =91Would I be excited about this trip?=92 And, the
answer in this case is a resounding yes!=94

The Novartis incentive group is in for an experience second to none. The
group will start by spending two days at one of the finest addresses on
Rio=92s glorious Copabana. Among other activities, the group will take a
4x4 excursion up Corcovado Mountain to see the gigantic statue of Christ
the Redeemer, visit Sugarloaf Mountain to take in the magnificent aerial
view of Rio, have lunch in Ipanema, and visit =91Samba City=92 where the
city=92s top samba schools prepare all year round for the grand Rio
Carnival in February.

The jetsetters will then fly to Manaus where a high-speed boat transfer
will take them to the Ariau Jungle Towers Hotel, the only hotel complex
at tree-top level in the Amazon Rainforest. The group will spend three
days in the Amazon, where they will take a guided evening canoe tour of
the jungle, with the possibility of getting up close and personal with
an alligator or two. Another highlight of this part of the programme
will be an afternoon spent Piranha fishing and a day trip to see the
magnificent =91Meeting of the Waters=92 =96 where the black waters of the
Negro River and brown waters of the Solim=F5es come together, running for
literally miles without mixing, before finally merging to become the
Amazon River.

This trip of a lifetime is scheduled to take place in May this year and
will be embarked upon by Novartis=92s top performing sales executives.
