IP Justice is an international civil liberties organization that promotes b=
alanced intellectual property law. The organization=92s focus is on interna=
tional treaties, directives, and other trade agreements that address intell=
ectual property rights or impact freedom of expression guarantees. IP Justi=
ce is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in San Fransi=
sco.
IP Justice=92s mission is to:

Advise policy makers from around the world on the impact of intellectual pr=
operty rules on traditional rights and innovation;
Build international coalitions and networks between independent organizatio=
ns working to protect freedom of expression;
Promote laws and technologies that encourage further creativity and innovat=
ion, and fairly compensate creators;
Raise global public awareness on the threat to individual freedoms posed by=
 expanding legal rights and technological restrictions to control intellect=
ual property;
Encourage individuals worldwide to advocate for balanced intellectual prope=
rty laws that preserve traditional consumer rights such as private copying,=
 the public domain, and reverse engineering.
