Please find below a list of the known consultations that have been/
will be held on the WHO IGWG process. We welcome corrections/updates
of this information:

August 07
15-16 August             	WHO EMRO in Cairo
22 August                   	Latin American civil society
consultation La Paz
23 August                   	US Department of Commerce, Washington DC
23 -24 August            	Regional government consultation hosted by
Bolivia, La Paz
27-28 August             	WHO EURO consultation, Copenhagen
28-29 August             	African civil society consultation, Nairobi

September 07
3-5 September             	AFRO consultation, Brazzaville
3-5 September             	Consultation hosted by Brazil, Rio de Janeiro
5-7 September           	WHO WPRO consultation Manila
A proposed European civil society consultation scheduled for mid-
September in Brussels has apparently been cancelled

October 07
3-4 October         			3rd SEARO consultation (?)
24-25 October          		WHO SEARO Member states consultation, Maldives
25-26 October             	African Commonwealth countries
consultation, Mombasa

In addition the IGWG is expected to be/have been part of the agenda
of the standing regional meetings of the WHO scheduled as follows:

SEARO,Bhutan              August 20-23
AFRO, Brazzaville         August 27-31
WPRO, Korea              	September 10-14
EURO, Belgrade            September 17-20
PAHO, Washington		October 1-5
EMRO, Khartoum       	October 20-23

and issues relevant to IGWG will be discussed during the Global Forum
for Health Research, October 29 - November 2 in Beijing

5-10 November            IGWG2

It is not clear if there is a PAHO consultation scheduled for
sometime in September. At present this is the only region without an
IGWG specific consultation.
