FACILITATING ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE MEDICINES: the key to a sustainable
pharmaceutical business model in developing countries

To mark the launch of a new report, Oxfam International has organized a
high-level panel discussion to be held on 24 April 2007 in New York.

The event will be hosted by Mary Robinson (President of Realising
Rights: the Ethical Globalisation Initiative, former President of
Ireland and United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights). The
panel, chaired by Dan Rosan from Interfaith Center for Corporate
Responsibility, will consist of:

*	Stephen Lewis former UN Special Envoy for HIV/AIDS in Africa
*	D.G. Shah Secretary General of the Indian Pharmaceuticals
Alliance
*	Jeffrey Sturchio Vice President for External Affairs at Merck
*	Mr Jon Ungphakorn, Executive Secretary of the AIDS Access
Foundation, Thailand
*	Plus a prominent investment analyst (to be announced).
