A Roundtable discussion on "Global Pharmaceutical Regulation 2007:
Tackling Regional Priorities" will take place at the Florida State
University College of Law on April 5-7, 2007. Information regarding the
Roundtable is available at http://www.law.fsu.edu/gpc2007/index.html.
Participants in the discussion include individuals from multilateral
organizations (WHO, World Bank, WIPO, PAHO), NGOs (ICTSD, I-MAK,
KEI/CPTech, Medecins Sans Frontieres), research foundations (FIND),
national governments (US Federal Trade Commission and National
Institutes of Health, Argentina Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Colombia
Ministry of Trade), industry groups (ALIFAR and the Indian
Pharmaceutical Alliance), health management organizations (MSH), the
Association of University Technology Managers and Universities Allied
for Essential Medicines, as well as public health consultants and
academic researchers.
Participants in the Roundtable are providing background documents that
may be of interest to researchers in this area. These documents are
