[Ip-health] WIPO General Assemblies: Draft Preliminary Consolidated and Annotated Agenda

The WIPO General Assemblies will take place from 25 September 2006 to 3
October 2006.  The link below shows the draft agenda with the tentative
timetable of when agenda items will be discussed.

It should be noted that the agenda states, "any of the agenda items may
be called up on any of the days from September 25 to October 3, 2006,
subject to a decision by the Chair, in accordance with the WIPO General
Rules of Procedure" and that the "time-table is merely indicative".

Agenda item 8 deals with the Development Agenda report and is slated for
discussion on Wednesday, 27 September 2006.

Agenda item 9 deals with the "Protection of Audiovisual Performances"
and is slated for discussion on Wednesay, 27 September 2006.

Agenda item 10 deals with the "Rights of Broadcasting Organizations" and
is slated for discussion on Wednesday, 27 September 2006.

Agenda item 11 deals with the Advisory Committee on Enforcement (ACE)
and is slated for discussion on Wednesday, 27 September 2006.

Agenda item 12 deals with the "report on the progress of the Standing
Committee on the Law of Patents in respect of the draft Substantive
Patent Law Treaty (SPLT) and consideration of a new workplan for 2007"
which is slated for discussion on Wednesday, 27 September 2006.

Agenda item 13 deals with the "report on the work of the
Intergovernmental Committee on Intellectual Property and Genetic
Resources, Traditional Knowledge and Folklore (IGC)" which is slated for
discussion on Thursday, 28 September 2006.
