Dear Friends,



CIEL and Oxfam International invite you to an informal working brunch on 3
December 2006, 11h00-14h00, in Salle Rachel Carson at the Maison des
Associations, 15 Rue des Savoises, Geneva in preparation for the 1st meeting
of the WHO Intergovernmental Working Group on Public Health, Innovation and
Intellectual Property scheduled for 4-8 December 2006.



The meeting aims to provide a platform for an exchange of ideas between
civil society and delegates concerning the narrowing down of CIPIH
recommendations, including discussing the way forward on the following
issues:



*         The appointment of Independent Experts;

*         Effective and meaningful participation of NGOs;

*         How to contribute towards the achievement for a full framework,
not just a medium-term plan of action.
