Five years ago the Doha Declaration on TRIPS and Public Health was adopted=

at the 2001 WTO Ministerial meeting in Qatar. The objective of the Doha=0D
Declaration was to ensure that trade rules did not stand in the way of=0D
access to essential medicines. Five years down the road, it=E2=80=99s time=

stock and examine whether Doha has held its promise to =E2=80=9C=E2=80=A6pr=
